Greater Death's Head Hawkmoth or Death head Moth - Acherontia lachesis (*A1/A-Condition*)
Description: sold with unmounted/closed wings as shown in last three photos (first photo shown to illustrate appearance of specimen if wings were to be spread); variability in skull pattern on thorax
Dimensions: approximately 3.5 - 4.7" (90 - 120 mm) wingspan
Condition: A1/A- (may have minor imperfections like mini wing chips; legs/antennae not included in grading condition of moths, butterflies, damselflies, and dragonflies)
Origin: Paul - Central Sulawesi, Indonesia
Collection date: Sep 2019
Listing photos are representative of the items we stock - the exact specimen you will receive may slightly vary in appearance due to wildlife diversity. Handle packages and specimens with care; these are dried specimens and are therefore inherently fragile.
All items ship from Los Angeles, California. We offer a wide variety of specimens, so consider browsing our other items to save on combined shipping.
We offer real taxidermy insect specimens that are dead, dried, and clean. All specimens are ethically and sustainably sourced - mostly from international farms. We neither stock nor endorse the collection of endangered/threatened species.

Rachel Kerluke I love my moths I received, however two wings came off of one of the moths and many legs, but I understand they are very fragile bugs! Just wish they had stayed on throughout their mailing journey
